Time to celebrate our love of books!
I've just finished reading "and the band played on" by Christopher Ward, an extraordinary story the author has written about his grandfather who was one of the musicians who sadly died on the Titanic. It was absolutely brilliant. I couldn't put it down and would highly recommend it.
My next read is a book called "The Wicked Wit of Charles Dickens" which looks at his professional as well as personal life. It also includes extracts from some of his novels which show his witty sense of humour.
I've been busy over the past few weeks with the promotion of the Thornhill Secret as well as working through my ideas, gathering information and continuing the research for Book 2, a mystery set at Hever Castle in Kent.
I have some book signings coming up in the next few months. I'm thrilled to be doing an event in my home town of Liverpool. My book will also be on show at several book fairs around the world between now and the end of the year, so do check out my website for updates.
An event closer to home for me - the Geneva International Book Fair is being held this week (25-29 April) in Switzerland. I'll be there promoting my book.
