Author Event - Cheshire

Hello Everyone
My how the time flies.  I can't believe it's the 1st of May!  Here in France it's a holiday, and there's a tradition of selling Lily of the Valley (muguet in French) at roadside stalls.  I've got some in my garden and I'm looking forward to seeing it shortly.
I'll be at Helsby Library in Cheshire next Tuesday the 7th for a reading and Q&A session from 5.30 p.m. to 6.45 p.m.  Do drop in if you are in the area - the event is free.

Book 2 Update and upcoming signings

Work on Book 2 is progressing well and sparks have been flying from my computer keys!  A snippet of news - one of the locations featured in my next Book will be in Geneva, Switzerland (a place dear to my heart as I spent many happy years living there).  I'm having great fun at the moment visiting the lovely places in this charming Swiss city.  Lake Leman (often called Lake Geneva, but it extends also to France) is a magnet for people enjoying the lovely warm weather that we've had these past few days.

The Thornhill Secret comes to New York!

Hello Everyone
Just a mention that my book (paperback and e-book versions) will be featured at the Book Expo America (BEA) Exhibition in the New Title Showcase section.
BEA will be held from June 5 to 7 at the Javets Convention Center, New York City.

UK's World Book Day - a celebration of reading and books

Yes, it's today and it's aimed at encouraging children to read.  I've loved reading books ever since I was a child.  I remember reading 1-2 books a week and couldn't get enough of Enid Blyton's Famous Five and Secret Seven.  I've still got some of the paperbacks at home.  I won't part with them!
As I got older and my interest developed in history and historical fiction, I then discovered Jean Plaidy.  At school in my English Lit classes I read, amongst other things: Animal Farm, Pride and Prejudice and one of my favourites, The Picture of Dorian Gray - scary!

Press Release

Hello everyone,
I'm pleased to advise that a copy of the Press Release for my book which has been issued by my publisher is available under News and Events.
Have a good week!

Winter is well and truly here!  Last weekend at my house in the French Alps the temperature plunged to -15C (5F).  The sun made an appearance and the scenery was fantastic, but it didn't get above -13C (8.6F) throughout the day.  I only ventured out to bring in more logs for the fire.
I’ve been busy updating my marketing plan for the Thornhill Secret and I am pleased to report that the publisher is working on a Press Release.  As soon as it is available I'll post it on the News and Events page.

Happy New Year!

Hello and welcome to my website!  If this is your first visit, thank you for your interest.
I've been busy promoting theThornhill Secret.  It's out there folks and available through your local bookseller or on-line retailer.  It's even available as an e-book (for the technical wizards amongst you!)
I hope you enjoy reading my book as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
2012 is going to be a busy year for me not only promoting the new book, but also I've started my research and preliminary outline for my next novel.
